Measure six ratios
Length-to-width, forehead-to-cheekbone, jaw-to-cheekbone, chin-to-jaw, forehead-to-jaw, and jaw angle.
Compare to ten profiles
Each ratio is scored against reference values for oval, round, square, heart, diamond and more.
Weight by reliability
Ratios that vary less between people carry more weight in the final confidence score.

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. Face detection runs entirely inside your browser using TensorFlow.js. No image data is sent to a server, ever.
How accurate is the result?
It’s ratio-based, not a black box: the same six measurements a stylist would take are compared against reference profiles for ten shapes, and you can see the full confidence breakdown, not just the top pick.
What if the camera doesn’t detect my face?
Use even, front-facing light, remove glasses if they cause glare, and keep your full face and hairline inside the frame. Manual measurements always work as a fallback.
Does this work on mobile?
Yes — both the manual form and the camera flow are fully responsive and support front/rear camera switching on phones.
